Afternoon all
A student on the Porirua campus was diagnosed with viral meningitis over the weekend.
Viral meningitis is rarely life threatening but can make people very unwell. It can be spread through coughing or sneezing or from poor hand hygiene.
This is a timely moment to remind people about the more serious bacterial meningitis. Please see the attached brochure to remind you what to watch for when people are unwell.
