SOWK6324 - Social Work Skills 2 - Jul 2020 - P

This paper has both a theoretical and a practical component. The theory will focus on the stages of the social work process and the use of ethical practice through this process while the practical will build on your skills from the previous skills paper to include more advanced interviewing skills, and incorporate recording; note taking and case note writing. We'll be using case scenarios from practice as a way of integrating the two parts of the paper.
A reading list will be provided and weekly readings and tasks need to be completed before each class.
