The circle has no beginning or end. A circle is a hoop, a loop, a halo, a circlet, a circuit, a band, a ring. As we look into the possibilities of the ring, we find infinite potential. The first-year jewellers of Whitireia are proud to present their debut show Circle, the culmination of three months spent exploring this universal shape.
Featuring works from six different artists from a diverse range of personal and cultural backgrounds, Circle promises to be an eclectic mix. Ranging from the bright and playful to the refined, subtle and subdued, the pieces presented in Circle capture the spirit of artistic exploration, experimentation, and development along the path of the burgeoning contemporary jeweller.
