All Wellington, Petone, Porirua and Kāpiti campuses will remain closed until they have been declared safe to enter by an engineer. As this is unlikely to be completed today all Wellington campuses will remain closed to students on Tuesday 15 November 2016.
We have been progressively inspecting campuses, but with the continued earthquakes we need to repeat this exercise. At this stage there appears to be minimal damage but we are awaiting expert advice. Your patience is appreciated while we undertake these safety checks.
We are aiming to update you again at around 7pm tonight and again at 7am tomorrow morning.
Please keep reviewing the Whitireia Facebook, website and Moodle.
Civil Defence has the latest information. Refer to www.civildefence.govt.nz
Whitireia 3rd year nursing students sitting final exams on Tuesday 15 November should go to their Moodle site to confirm exam arrangements.
