We are monitoring weather forecasts and indications are that this heavy rain will pass reasonably quickly.
Some schools may have closed so staff and students who have children attending schools in the area may wish to check their status if they haven’t been contacted by the school already.
For people wanting to travel to the Mohuia or Porirua campuses, be aware that there is surface flooding around central Porirua with road diversions in place at some intersections. All roads on the Porirua CBD area remain open.
The Property Team is monitoring the campus. Please let them know of any problems you notice arising from the heavy rain.
